Use of Facebook Social Plugins

Our websites use social plugins (“plugins”) provided by

a) the social network facebook.com, and conducted by Facebook Ireland Ltd., an Irish company registered at 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugin is recognizable by the Facebook logo

b) the social network pinterest.com, and executed by Pinterest Europe Ltd., an Irish company registered at Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Pinterest”). The plugin is recognizable by the Pinterest logo

When you visit a page of our websites, it can contain a social plugin. When you click on the logo of the plugin, your browser connects you to the Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest Servers. Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest will immediately transfer this plugin content to your browser, which integrates it into the website, so Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest stores the information of your visit on this page or website. To do this, the internet address of the visited site (including your IP address) is transferred to the servers of Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. This also happens when you do not have a Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest account or if you are not logged in with your account on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest the moment you visit the website.

If you are logged into Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest your visit can be attributed to your Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest account. If you interact with the plugins, eg by clicking on “Like” or by adding comments, this information will be forwarded from your browsers to Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest who also stores it. The information can also be published on Facebook, Twitter or Pinteres to your Facebook friends, Twitter or Pinterest followers.

If you are a member of Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest and you do not want Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest to link the data related to your visit to our website with your member information, please log out of Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest before our website to visit. You can also block the Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest Social Plugin by using add-ons for your browser such as “Facebook blocker”. For more information about the privacy policy of Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest we refer to their website at www.facebook.com and www.pinterest.com
